How we sell counter-drone equipment

Counter-drone equipment can disrupt radio links and aircraft, so the law decides who may buy and use it. This is whom we sell to, what we check before a sale, and what we ask of every buyer.

Who we sell to

Detection is open to more customers than countermeasures, which can disrupt drones and the radio links around them.

We don’t sell countermeasures to individuals, to anyone on a sanctions or restricted-party list, or for destinations under embargo.

What we check before every sale

  1. Who you are. The agency or organization, and a named, accountable contact.
  2. Your authority. The law, certification or license that lets you operate the equipment.
  3. End use and end user. Where it will be used, by whom and for what, in a signed end-user statement or certificate.
  4. Screening. Every party to the sale, against U.S. and international sanctions and restricted-party lists.
  5. Licenses. The export license for the sale, any U.S. approval it needs, and your country’s import permit.

We decline any request we can’t verify.

How equipment reaches you

  • Configured before it ships. Frequency bands, power and features are set to what your authority allows. Anything not allowed where you operate is disabled.
  • Shipped to the authorized end user, under the licenses for that sale and with the documents customs needs.
  • Delivered with training from instructors with combat experience, and supported for the life of the equipment.

What we ask of every buyer

  • Use the equipment only as your authority allows, and keep the records your rules require.
  • Don’t resell, lend, transfer or export it without our written agreement and the approvals the law requires.
  • Tell us if your authority changes or ends.
  • Allow end-use checks where a license or the law requires them.

We may stop support for equipment that is misused, or transferred without approval.

This page describes how we sell. It isn’t legal advice, and it doesn’t replace the laws, licenses and certifications that apply to you.
